Erik and Diana used to be the best of friends. Erik is a lot more level-headed than Diana and a genuine fun-loving spirit.He is a skilled hunter and grew up with his small family who has had problems with vampires in the past. He has had a long-term rivalry with John, who has never really been someone whose presence he enjoyed. He promised to find Diana again in the future.

He also wanted to wed Diana, but she never really reciprocated those feelings; this made him hate Erik even more. John is a chauvinistic male who is normally blunt and fairly cruel, but does well for himself all the same.
